Vintage MASJ three mice on wheat stalk novelty bar brooch

Very sweet vintage MASJ jewellery figural brooch depicting three mice sitting atop a wheat or barley stalk. Two of the mice are facing inwards and their tails are intertwined; the third mouse faces away from the wearer. Great attention to detail, with each mouse having an individual face. The brooch is made of silver plated pewter.

Signed to reverse and dated 1995.

Created by the Welsh designer Maureen Ann Story Jones and part of the Silver Scenes collection that was produced in Montgomeryshire, Wales from 1984. All the earlier pieces were signed and dated.
