Vintage MASJ cat in window novelty statement brooch

Lovely vintage MASJ jewellery figural brooch depicting a cat seated on a windowsill with its back turned to us. The window pane is decorated with an ornate foliate arch. The brooch is made of silver plated pewter.

Signed to reverse and dated 1990.

Created by the Welsh designer Maureen Ann Story Jones and part of the Silver Scenes collection that was produced in Montgomeryshire, Wales from 1984. All the earlier pieces were signed and dated.
