Wonderfully whimsical studio pottery teapot handmade by "Carters of Suffolk", formerly known as Kiln Cottage Pottery. Round tapered body is moulded like a sea fort or fortress rising out of the waves. The embossed waves are further enhanced with a lustre finish and the lid finial is shaped liked a flag, also lustre glazed. Great novelty item that will liven up any kitchen.
Carters of Suffolk are stocked at Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Bloomingdale's and Royal Yacht Britannia among other places.
