Vintage Egyptian silver dish / tray engraved with scrolls

This fine, elegant dish is wrought from silver, and features floral and geometric engravings all over, as well as a stepped rim and petal edge.

The underside is stamped with the Egyptian lotus flower symbol, an assay mark designation 90% purity, and a date code indicating it was produced between 1959 and 1961 in Cairo.
