Wonderful Victorian silver plated 16 piece fish cutlery set for 6 person that includes 4 serving pieces. The inclusion of 4 servers is very unusual, as usually only 2 serving pieces are provided. The handles are fashioned in lavish Queens' pattern and the blades and serving pieces are bright-cut in ornate Art Nouveau style with scrolls, flowers, foliage and wriggle work borders. The set comes in its original oak canteen with red velvet interior and vacant brass shield cartouche to the lid for personalised engraving.
A truly sumptuous set and a striking example of Victorian craftsmanship and opulence!
