Victorian natural half pearl circle brooch / lace pin, 9ct yellow gold

Victorian circular brooch made of 9ct yellow gold and set with natural split pearls. Most likely this was used as a lace pin to secure a length of lace at the neckline or to attach drapery at the shoulder. The brooch has an antique C-clasp.

XRF tested for 9ct gold.

Made in England, c. 1870’s.
