Victorian burr walnut sewing / letter box with contents

Beautiful Victorian burr walnut sewing box with hinged lid and sewing box contents from the last 50 years. Wonderfully ornate lid with a central fruitwood oval medallion and cross-banding of satinwood, boxwood and ebony.

The size of the box makes it perfect for storing jewellery, letters or any other valuable keepsakes!

Lovely grain and warm patina to the wood.
