Sterling silver Art Deco engine-turned square compact powder case with mirror

Beautiful antique powder compact case in sterling silver. Square body of slightly domed shape with rounded sides and ornate Art Deco engine-turned decoration all over. The design is accented with plain horizontal bands and there is a vacant rectangular cartouche for personalised engraving.

Inbuilt mirror and original netting inside - the mirror can be easily removed and replaced.

Lovely yet functional piece of history!
