Miniature Sitzendorf porcelain boy and girl shepherds with sheep figurines

Enchanting pair of Sitzendorf porcelain figurines depicting a shepherd and shepherdess surrounded with frolicking sheep. Lovely polychrome enamelling in mint green, lavender purple and yellow. The boy and girl rest on moulded gilded bases that are decorated with flowers and foliage.

Made by Sitzendorf, Germany, c. 1930’s.
