Large Victorian sterling silver Aesthetic cuff bangle / wide bracelet engraved with roses

Splendid Victorian sterling silver cuff bangle with a box clasp closure. One half of the bracelet is intricately bright-cut and engraved in the Aesthetic Movement style. The central band depicts rose bouquets, the edges are trimmed with wriggle work and criss-crossing borders and there is a fan decoration next to the hinge and the clasp.

This bracelet is a very sizeable piece and has a pleasant heavy feel when worn.

"B&C" maker’s mark, fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1882.
