Large Art Deco sterling silver engine-turned cigarette case with gold washed interior

Large and impressive Art Deco sterling silver cigarette case with a gold-washed interior. Both halves are decorated with an engine-turned design typical of the period and trimmed with smooth bevelled edges.

Of suitable size to be used as a card case.

Made by Deakin & Francis and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1931 (with import marks for Dublin)
