Beautiful pair of early 20th century Royal Crown Derby porcelain serving dishes. Round shell-shaped bodies with fluted edges, decorative moulding and looping scroll handles. White ground with cobalt blue borders and sumptuous gilding. The bowls are hand-painted with floral garlands and bouquets in vivid polychrome enamelling of pink, yellow and blue hues.

Perfect size to serve butter, scallops or caviar.

Made by Royal Crown Derby, England, c. 1910s (backstamp in use between 1891 – 1921)
