Pair of Edwardian silver plated candle holders in taperstick size. Resting on round bases and fashioned in the Rococo style, each cast and chased with rocailles, scrolls and shells. The nozzles are embossed with a foliate motif.
Wonderfully ornate design that makes it seem like the candlesticks are rising from sea waves.
Made by Elkington & Co, Birmingham and date marked for 1910 and 1919.

Great antique condition. Very tiny wear to silvering; the edges of nozzles are a bit uneven.
