Early 20th century pale yellow soapstone small decorative teapot. Finely carved with an openwork prunus flower design on top; the figural lid has a bird-shaped finial.

Dating to early Chinese Republic period.

Good antique condition. Small chips to tip of spout, one flower, base of teapot and to the underside of the lid; small nicks commensurate with age.
