Capodimonte Tiche Galletti porcelain figurines of lady and cavalier in Regency costumes

Beautiful pair of matching Capodimonte porcelain figurines depicting a courtly lady and her cavalier resting on round moulded bases. The figurines are hand-painted in rich vivid enamels and dressed in Georgian period costumes. The woman's skirt is decorated with delicate floral bouquets and the man's waistcoat is adorned with scrolls. Both figurines are richly accented with gilt.

Made in Italy, by Tiche Porcellane d'Arte, artist's signature "Galletti" to base. Second half of 20th century.
