Grecian revival motifs turn up often enough in Art Deco silverware that the two styles ended up genuinely intertwined. Deco's love of clean geometry found a natural partner in classical Greek ornament, and these spoons show that pairing off nicely. Each terminal is worked in high relief with a shell-like design, sitting above beaded borders that run the length of the handle, small enough details that you'd only really clock them with a spoon in hand rather than glancing at the set from across a room.
The set spans three hallmark years, 1928, 1930 and 1933, all by Wilmot Manufacturing Co, which suggests they were made in small batches over several years rather than one production run, and only later brought together as a set of six. Whoever assembled it clearly cared about presentation too. They're arranged in their original black leather case, lined with black velvet and cream silk, fanned out in a way that turns the box itself into something worth opening slowly rather than just storage to be shoved in a drawer.

Spoons in great condition. Wear to box commensurate with age; one clasp is loose; box doesn't appear to be the original case for the spoons.
