Wonderful Art Deco set of 6 butter knives with two-tone mother-of-pearl handles and stainless steel blades. The geometrically-shaped handles have been dyed a deep blue around the edges, leaving central bands of pearly shimmering white colour. The set comes in its original fitted leather case lined with cream satin and velvet. Really lovely set that completely embodies the style of that period – the handles have a rich deep lustre and catch the light beautifully.

Made by William Hutton & Sons, Sheffield, c. 1920’s. The inside of the box is marked 'W.G.Dickinson, Goldsmith & Silversmith, 19, New Bond St, Bath'.
