Art Deco satinwood keepsake / card box with cherry leather lining

Wonderful Art Deco keepsake box made of satinwood. Rectangular form with a flat hinged lid. The interior is lined with cherry red leather and the base is lined with tan leather.

Beautiful sheen to the wood with rich warm patina. The box is a great size to store small items of jewellery or to be used as a vide poche or card box. Very decorative as well as functional item.

Made in England, c. 1920’s.
