Pair of Art Deco red porcelain baluster vases depicting timber framed cottages in a continuous landscape by Royal Doulton. These 1920's urns showcase the stunning Flambe glaze, originating from Chinese potters in the 11th century. Utilising copper oxide as a colouring agent and fired in a reducing atmosphere, Royal Doulton adopted this technique in 1908.
