Early 20th century British Raj sterling silver ashtray by Cooke & Kelvey. Large baluster body and two cigarette holders on either side. Heavy and sizeable piece.
Cooke & Kelvey was founded in 1858 by Robert Thomas Cooke and Charles Kelvey. They were Kolkata-based clock-makers, silversmiths and jewellers working during the later period of British India.

Good overall antique condition. Two dents and several smaller dings and depressions. The corner of one cigarette groove is turned in.
