Multicolour sapphire clusters make use of a fact worth knowing: sapphire isn't only blue, it's the whole corundum family minus red (which becomes ruby instead), with pink, yellow, orange, green and purple stones all coloured by different trace elements during formation. This ring brings six of those shades together in a floral cluster totalling roughly 2 carats, each colour distinct and well-matched rather than blending into a single impression of sparkle.
The setting is 9ct white gold, chosen for the same reason white metal usually sits behind coloured stones — it stays neutral and lets the cluster's colour do the work.
