1890's Hanau silver Karl Kurz Silberwarenfabrik crescent bonbon basket / trinket dish

Elegant German 19th century solid silver crescent shaped trinket / ring dish. Beautifully embossed all over with a rich foliate and scroll design and decorated to the centre with a gallant scene depicting a courting farmer couple.

Beautiful little trinket dish that would add charm to any dressing table.

Made by Karl Kurz Silberwarenfabrik, hallmarked for Hanau, 1890's
Imported by Samuel Boyce Landeck and fully assayed for Chester, 1902
