Pair of Royal Doulton serving platters, blue and white “Norfolk” windmill design, hexagonal dish
A pair of Royal Doulton small serving platters in their blue and white "Norfolk" pattern. One is of elongated rectangular body, with outwardly sloping handles; the smaller dish is round and hexagonal and has pierced D-handles. The transferware depicts peaceful pastoral scenes with country houses, windmills and sailing boats on the river.
Made by Royal Doulton, England. Long dish made c. 1920's; the hexagonal dish marked for 1944.

Hexagonal dish in great condition. The long platter has crazing, some discolouration and chipping to the undersides of both handles.
