We stumbled into the world of antiques quite accidentally a decade ago.
Prior to that, our family had bought a few antique pieces here and there, but it wasn’t until 2013 that we first opened a modest little store on eBay trading in vintage items (that’s anything newer than 100 years, if anyone is taking notes).
Starting out, we knew very little about antiques - where to find them, how to look after them or, if we’re being honest with ourselves, what they were worth.
Fast forward ten years and we have an established presence on Etsy, eBay, and Vinterior, trade on the more upmarket auction platform of Catawiki and in our latest development, are now incredibly proud to welcome you here, to the home of Rita’s Bazaar.
At Rita’s Bazaar, we wanted to make the experience of buying antiques as painless and streamlined as possible.
Have a look at our collections, skim over the short but sweet product descriptions (including all the history bits that are great for boring people with at dinner parties), and in a few clicks, you’re the proud owner of a slice of history.
And best of all, you are giving a new life to objects from generations past instead of buying something mass produced that will be forgotten in 10 minutes.
We're a small, family run business (Rita is our grandmother), and even though we’ve grown, this is still a labour of love and we are both fully involved in the process from start to finish, so we hope that you find something you like.
