Large Edwardian sterling silver sugar shaker / sifter / caster, Chester, 1906
Large antique sterling silver sugar sifter. Round baluster body with a waisted top, circular pedestal foot and ribbed girdle decoration to centre of the shaker. The domed lid is topped with an ornate fluted cone finial. Very large and heavy sugar caster from one of the most well-known English silversmith companies.
Made by Walker & Hall and fully hallmarked for Chester, a centre of English provincial silver, 1906
