Large Art Deco 800 solid silver cigarette case of rectangular bevelled body. Ornately engraved to lid with an abstract and geometric design typical of the period. The interior is gilded and has two original dividers – there are also hooks for two further vertical dividers. The lid is inscribed “Lewandowski” and monogrammed “HM” in 9 ct yellow gold.
Made in Warsaw, Poland, c. 1930’s. Woman’s profile and “3” for 800 silver and “W” for Warsaw.
