Antique 6 person 800 silver gilt fruit cutlery set boxed Jules Albrecht Geneve
Wonderful 6 person fruit / dessert / cake cutlery set wvicith 800 solid silver handles and gilded bladed and tines. The knives and forks are by different makers, but the design is very similar and they compliment each other beautifully. Elongated elegant handles are reeded on the sides; the knives are decorated near the collars with delicate applied leaves. Both sets come in their original presentation cases.
The set dates to 1890’s – 1910’s; the forks were made in Germany and the knives were made by Jules Albrecht, Switzerland and come in a box bearing his logo. The box is lined with pale blue silk and velvet.
