Vintage Malkit sterling silver Israeli Yemenite filigree fish brooch with green malachite Solomon Eilat stone
Vintage Israeli sterling silver fish brooch with a green stone eye. Ornate filigree design that was brought to Israel by the Yemenite Jews in the 1960’s. The eye is meant to be made from the Eilat gemstone – the National stone of Israel, also known as King Solomon Stone – however, the mines were turned into a national park and this is mostly likely a malachite or chrysocolla.
