Victorian silver plate Walker & Hall boxed dessert serving cutlery set; Christmas nutcrackers and grape scissors
Exquisite dessert cutlery serving set dating to the late Victorian period. Comprising five silver-plated pieces which include two large spoons, 2 pairs of nutcrackers and one pair of grape scissors.
The spoons have embossed berry bowls with fluted edges and egg-and-dart design to handles. The scissors have a bright-cut and engraved design of flowers and foliage and the nutcrackers have spiral beehive handles.
The set is housed in its original serpentine fitted presentation case made of dark red Morocco leather and embossed with a gold border to the domed hinged lid. The interior of the box is lined with powder blue ruched silk.
