Silver matching cigarette case and powder compact with 9ct rose gold bands and letter "A"
Property of a lady - a matching pair of cigarette case and powder compact in original presentation case.
Sterling silver bodies with gold-washed interiors and applied bands to covers in 9ct rose gold. Both cases have bevelled edges and engine-turned engraving all over in Art Deco style. The cigarette case has an unusual sliding mechanism. The compact retains the original netting and powder.
Both pieces are decorated with an applied letter "A", also in 9ct rose gold. As the letter is superimposed, as opposed to engraved, it is possible to remove it.
The set is cased in a blue leather box with gilt embossed scrolling border and satin and velvet lining.
