A finely carved antique Chinese figurine in celadon green and russet jade. The carving is done in Tang style and depicts a recumbent lion with a bird held down by its right paw. The bird is reaching upwards to peck at the lion's face. Beautiful green jade with brown inclusions throughout adding depth to the figure.
