Pair of very rare James Hadley modelled Royal Worcester figurines of Egyptian musicians in stained and shaded ivories with gilding, one playing a tambourine, the other a lute like stringed instrument.
Each is marked "Hadley" on the top of the base. The underside of each figurine is marked with the Royal Worcester mark and RD Number and the number 1084.

Lute musician with date mark 1896, shape number 1084. Tambourine musician with date mark 1895, shape number 1084.

Excellent antique condition, minor loss to gilt in both figurines; lute playing musician has repair to finger, repair to arm and surface crack to glazing on bottom of tunic; tambourine playing musician has small chip on rocky base by foot.
