Pair of exceptional mid-19th century German KPM porcelain vases/urns with covers. The urns reflect the Neoclassical style featuring ram’s head handles and floral hand-painted designs enhanced with gilt.
KPM porcelain, also known as the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin was founded in 1763 by King Frederick II of Prussia. From the beginning it was known as “white gold” for its pure white hard paste body.
Made by KPM, 19th Century.

11 cm and 10.8 cm neck diameter
13 cm base diameter

Very good antique condition. First vase: minimal loss to gilding, two cracks on the lid, chipped enamel on edge of lid and a small chip on the edge of the lid, the ram has a small enamel chip, minor loss to paint; second vase: chips on edge of lid, minor wear to enamel on the base, otherwise the condition is excellent
