Serial number 1870 out of a limited edition of 2500.

The obverse of the medal is decorated in high-relief with the portraits of the three astronauts and inscribed:
"MAN'S FIRST MOON LANDING
COLLINS ARMSTRONG ALDRIN
20·7·1969·A·D"

The obverse depicts the Lunar Module Eagle and bears the inscription "APOLLO 11 MISSION".

Made by William James Dingley and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1969.
