German silver pierced bonbon trinket dish with repousse cherubs and floral garlands
Lovely antique German silver bonbon basket fashioned in Rococo style. Oval pierced body is embossed with fruit and floral garlands and scrolls to the serpentine border. The centre is decorated with three repoussage putti / cherubs.
The bowl has two vacant cartouches for personalised engraving.
Beautiful little trinket dish that would be a great vide poche for jewellery on a dressing table, or perhaps be used to serve sweets at teatime.
