Edme Samson Paris porcelain yellow inkwell and penholder with gilt bronze top, Chinese export style
Edmé Samson "Chinese export" large inkwell with a gilt bronze top with four sections - three sections have wells, the section with the hinged lid does not have a bottom. Yellow ground body with white medallions that are hand-painted with polychrome enamel red and purple flowers. Marked with a pseudo Chinese red mark to base.

Very good antique condition. Some wear to yellow ground and gilt; markings inside; the bronze top is a bit indented in the centre; fleabite to rim.
