A 19th century exquisite tea cup and saucer adorned with the 'Augustus Rex' mark, used by Meissen and replicated by Helena Wolfsohn.

The porcelain set features charming hand-painted panels of colourful flowers and a nautical scene of a ship on white background. Gold accents enhance the beauty, appearing between the panels, on the rims of the cup and saucer, and on the cup's handle.

The maker's mark, in blue, is located on the underside of both the cup and saucer.

Made by Helena Wolfsohn, Germany, 1870's
