This elegant vintage English sterling silver Kiddush cup, dated 1969, features a beautifully engraved grapevine motif symbolising abundance, joy, and blessing. Bunches of ripened grapes, flowing tendrils, and finely detailed vine leaves form a continuous decorative band around the upper body, echoing the rich naturalistic style seen in patterns like Francis I by Reed & Barton. The cup has a gently flared rim and a slender, waisted stem leading to a broad domed foot, creating a graceful and harmonious silhouette. Its versatile form makes it ideal for use as a traditional Kiddush cup, a wine goblet, or a decorative table accent.
