Vintage Chinese Imari porcelain large peacock bird figure, Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi statue

Large Chinese Imari porcelain statue of a seated peacock. Bright pink and royal blue enamelling and richly applied gilt, including to the bird’s comb. Wonderful statement piece.

Made in China, c. 1950’s. Marked with double outline red Qianlong reproduction mark to base – “Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi” (Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made).

Good overall vintage condition. Some wear to enamelling and gilt commensurate with age; few dark marks to neck; small overpainted chip; repairs to right wing.
