Charming Edwardian Staffordshire pottery teapot. Inverted baluster body rests on a pedestal foot; the cream ground is transfer printed with large sprays of yellow flowers. The teapot has an ornate moulded handle that is accented with gilt; the lid, foot and spout of the teapot are also gilded.

Made in England, c. 1910’s.

Good antique condition. Crazing and wear to gilt commensurate with age and use; fleabite to glazing on tip of spout; hairline crack to body that does not cause leaking; crack to inner rim of the lid.
